Talk That Talk

Covered Wounds

Complex situations making me feel like an undone crossword puzzle

What do you think he knows

About the way the moon glows,

About how the sun rises,

About the love he that he throws?

He is fragile and candid as you see;

As gullible and naïve as one can be;

Every beat of his cotton candy heart

Sets a non preceded affection free.

He wraps himself in a custom CARE coat,

Takes a sip of devotion for his soar throat;

“This should hide the wounds” he thinks

As he struggles to decode this note:

When the flowers come to bloom;

You’ll be wearing less I assume;

Then will your scars be uncovered

And your secrets discovered.
