Product Review| Le Petit Marseillais Shampooing Anti-Pelliculaire

I’ve always struggled with dandruff. It’s nothing new, but since I started my hair journey I’ve started paying more attention to my scalp. Your scalp needs to be healthy in order for your hair to properly grow.

I discovered this shampoo during the Christmas holidays last year at my aunt’s house. I was looking for an anti-dandruff shampoo because I was tired of making it snow every time I scratched my scalp but I was also skeptical because I had heard that the more you use such shampoos, the more you need them. The ingredients (essential oils), the smell and finally the price (only €2.50 at Intermarché) convinced me to buy it and I don’t regret it.

The Review

I love this shampoo! It is quiet thick but it spreads easily. It lathers up very well after the second application. I used it every week during 2 months and I got results after the first use (as it says on the bottle). It doesn’t have a strong smell. It smells like… essential oils. Even though every oil has its own smell, I think this smells like an essential oil that I don’t know (not very helpful).

I always do the final rinse with cool- cold water and when I did it with this shampoo my scalp felt so fresh! Like when you drink cold water after eating something mint-flavored.

This shampoo does contain sulfates but I personally don’t mind. That is probably the reason why my hair feels a bit dry after using it, but it’s nothing a good deep conditioner can’t fix.

I would recommend this shampoo to anyone that struggles with dandruff or itchy scalp.

What’s your favorite shampoo?
